about

MARQUEZ / LET THE DARKNESS BE A BELL TOWER
- is an Instrumental collection, featuring my more "Spectral" works. These compositions were created in various places in the World - Lisbon, Mexico City, Lviv, Ukraine, Istanbul, NYC, San Francisco, New Orleans, Philadelphia - and even in my hometown of Fresno, California. My work is Compositional, and is influenced by Visual and Literary sources, as well as certain composers: Debussy, Ravel, Satie, Takemitsu, Steve Reich, John Adams, Gavin Bryars, Karol Syzmanowski, Miles Davis, Paul Bley and Brian Eno - to name a few.
